The Attadale Play Group year runs from 1st February to 31st January.
Priority enrolment will be given to existing and new members who attend and enrol at the AGM. Any remaining places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis to other existing members. Enrolments for other new members will open online on the first Monday in December (Semester 1 commences 1st February).
Our AGM is held every November. All members are expected to attend as this is when current and new members are able to enrol for the following year.
The AGM will be held at Attadale Playgroup in November and details will be advertised through our Facebook page.
Sessions are non - exclusive, and so open to new members throughout the year until maximum capacity is reached. The maximum number of families enrolled in a session is 15. This includes families which have multiple children enrolled at the centre. Which means that at any one time in any session there could be 15 families enrolled but there could be 30 children (some families having 2 or 3 children). Members are only able to attend the session that they have enroled for. If you miss your session, you are NOT able to attend another session on a different day or time.
It is not possible to join more than 1 session at Attadale Playgroup. Enrolment is by family and is limited to 1 session per family. Attadale Playgroup is a not-for-profit community organisation. This policy is in place to ensure Attadale Playgroup is accessible to as many families in the local community as possible who are looking for a place to make connections and friendships, share experiences, get advice and form support networks.
All APG Members are automatically members of Playgroup WA and receive an Australian Baby Card (valued at $30), full insurance coverage, special discounts and benefits, access to help and support from the members hotline and invitations to Playgroup WA events and play days. We want all of our members to enjoy their time at the Centre. Therefore, you are welcome to attend a free trial session before you enrol. We then require you to complete an online enrolment with payment of fees if you wish to continue with membership at APG. Please contact APG Enrolment Officers if you would like to arrange a trial session.
You may enrol to be member for a full year or for a single semester. The semester dates and fees are outlined below. Membership is valid for the dates stated below. Fees are not calculated pro rata and cannot be transferred between semesters.
Membership consists of an insurance fee and a membership fee.
OPTION 1 (Full Year)
Full year – 1 February 2021 to 31 January 2022: $145 plus compulsory $35 Playgroup WA Insurance
OPTION 2 (Semester basis)
Semester 1 – 1 February 2021 to 31st July 2021: $95 plus compulsory $35 Playgroup WA Insurance
Semester 2 – 1 August 2021 to 31 January 2022: $95 (plus compulsory $35 Playgroup WA Insurance if not a member previously in Semester 1)
Total for a new member joining in Semester 2: $130
Total for a member renewing membership in Semester 2: $95
The Session Calendar is best viewed using a desktop or laptop computer, rather than on a smart phone. The number of places available online is live and correct. The age range of the children enrolled in sessions is provided as a guide only and children of any age are welcome.
